I’m Jenna. I’m 30. Married and Canadian.
I’ve been overweight most of my adult life except for a brief period 8 years ago when I starved 50 lbs. off my 5’1 frame. Since then, I’ve managed gain back all the weight I’d lost. On my 30th birthday this past December 27th I made a commitment to myself to finally lose the weight and keep it off for good.
My approach to weight loss is different this time around. I haven’t committed to a restrictive diet, instead, I’m learning to love healthy foods and making building a lifestyle that I can live with long term my priority. My goal is simply to live well.
On December 15th, 2011 I weighed in at exactly 180 lbs. You can follow my weekly weigh ins by viewing my weight loss page.

Jenna Lives Well is where I keep myself accountable. As friends, family and co-workers started to notice the changes in my lifestyle they were intrigued and wanted to know more.
I share my daily food logs, weight loss struggles, weigh-ins, healthy recipes and anything and everything that is going on in my life that impacts my goal to live well.
I update this blog daily. In the early mornings, I tend to write about weight loss, motivation and healthy living topics. In the evenings, I recap my daily food intake my posting photos and comments about what I’ve eaten that day.
